The Imlay City Spartans topped the host Seaholm/Groves Maples volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Coming up next, the Spartans play the Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 6. Imlay City will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the outing with a 7-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Marian (Bloomfield Hills, MI).

The Maples (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Holt (Holt, MI). The Rams enter the non-league match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Holt was dropped by Okemos (Okemos, MI), 3-0, in a league match.
