Oregon City Pioneers (Oregon City, OR) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the host Jefferson Democrats (Portland, OR), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Pioneers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Gresham (Gresham, OR). The Gophers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Gresham was beaten by Clackamas (Clackamas, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Democrats meet the Tigard Tigers (Tigard, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Ridgeview (Redmond, OR).
