In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Jemison Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs.

The Panthers (16-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Elmore County (Eclectic, AL). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Elmore County achieved victory over Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fayetteville for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Stanhope Elmore will face a Wolves squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Winterboro (Alpine, AL). The Wolves record now stands at 10-1.
