In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Montgomery Catholic Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers.

The Knights (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 17-1 record. In their last test, Montgomery Academy achieved victory over St. Paul's Episcopal (Mobile, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Cavaliers now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montevallo for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. John Carroll Catholic will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Tuscaloosa Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-3.
