In Saturday's non-league match, the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Bears confront the Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL) in a North Suburban match, on Wednesday, September 10. Lake Zurich will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Zion-Benton (Zion, IL).

With the loss, St. Charles East drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Fighting saints host Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a DuKane bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Wheaton-Warrenville South lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Naperville North (Naperville, IL)
