Illinois High School Volleyball - Larkin edged by Walther Christian Academy

Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Walther Christian Academy improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Broncos travel to Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL) to face the CRSM in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The CRSM go into the test with a record of 1-2. Cristo Rey St. Martin lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Waukegan (Waukegan, IL)

Next, the Royals meet the Woodlands Academy Wildcats (Lake Forest, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Larkin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Islamic Foundation (Villa Park, IL).
