Utah High School Volleyball - Murray bounced by Layton

The Murray Spartans volleyball squad (Murray, UT), dropped 3-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Layton Lancers (Layton, UT)

With the win, Layton improves its record to 7-11 on the season. The Lancers travel to Davis (Kaysville, UT) to encounter the Darts in a 6A Region 1 battle on Thursday, September 11. The Darts enter the contest with a record of 5-9. Davis won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT)

Next, the Spartans meet the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle (Draper, UT) in a 4A Region 10 contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Murray will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Soaring Eagle enter the contest with a 1-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Green River (Green River, WY).
