In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Thompson Tommies volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions.

The Tommies (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Park River/Fordville-Lankin (Park River, ND). The Aggies enter the B - Region 2 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Park River/Fordville-Lankin was beaten by Enderlin (Enderlin, ND), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] Cougars (Turtle Lake, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Velva (Velva, ND).
