Oklahoma High School Volleyball - Locust Grove tips McAlester

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Locust Grove Pirates volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the McAlester Buffaloes.
The Pirates (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Skiatook (Skiatook, OK). The Bulldogs go into the Green Country test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Skiatook nudged Catoosa (Catoosa, OK), 2-1, in a league test.
The Buffaloes now own a 7-23 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muskogee for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. McAlester will face a Roughers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Pryor (Pryor, OK). The Roughers record now stands at 2-16.
