The Salem Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Magna Vista Warriors to 1 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host William Byrd for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Salem will play a Terriers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Terriers record now stands at 1-3.

The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Hawks enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Gretna was dropped by Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
