California High School Volleyball - Milpitas over Piedmont Hills

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) and the visiting Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA), observed Milpitas's volleyball team top Piedmont Hills by a count of 2-0.

The Trojans (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA). The Cardinals go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Santa Cruz was defeated by Salinas (Salinas, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Pirates now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Presentation for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. Piedmont Hills will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Westmont (Campbell, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
