Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA) and the visiting Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), observed Mountain View's volleyball team top Western Branch by a tally of 3-0.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Caroline (Milford, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Caroline was defeated by Prince George (Prince George, VA), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Bruins now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host King's Fork for a Southeastern test on Thursday, September 11. Western Branch will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
