Illinois High School Volleyball - Plainfield Central over Oak Forest

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Plainfield Central Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Oak Forest Bengals.

The Wildcats (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Morris (Morris, IL). The go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Morris achieved victory over Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Bengals now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shepard for a South Suburban test on Tuesday, September 9. Oak Forest will face a Astros squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL). The Astros record now stands at 3-3.
