In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Pacific Grove Breakers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Santa Maria Saints.

The Breakers (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Templeton (Templeton, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Templeton was defeated by Shafter (Shafter, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Saints now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paso Robles for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Santa Maria will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Mission College Prep (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Bearcats record now stands at 6-9.
