South Carolina High School Volleyball - Pickens over Woodmont

The Pickens Blue Flame volleyball squad scored 2 points and limited the visiting Woodmont Wildcats to 0 in the Blue Flame non-league victory on Saturday.

Next up, the Blue Flame confront the Greer Yellow Jackets (Greer, SC) in a AAAA Region 2 match, on Tuesday, September 9. Pickens will attempt to advance on its 8-0 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC).

The Wildcats (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 7-10 record. In their last match, Batesburg-Leesville was dropped by Academy of Richmond County (Augusta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league match.
