Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Pioneer Titans (Whittier, CA) and the visiting Rowland Raiders (Rowland Heights, CA), observed Pioneer's volleyball team top Rowland by a count of 2-0.

The Titans (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA). The Conquerors enter the non-league contest with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Los Altos dropped by Woodcrest Christian (Riverside, CA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Raiders now own a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Azusa for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9.
