The Sumrall Bobcats topped the visiting Presbyterian Christian Bobcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bobcats confront the Brookhaven Panthers (Brookhaven, MS) in a Class 5A Region 3 game, on Monday, September 8. Sumrall will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to South Jones (Ellisville, MS).

With the loss, Presbyterian Christian drops to 10-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats host West Marion (Foxworth, MS) to clash with the Trojans in a Class 3A Region 8 bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 12-6. West Marion won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Salem (Tylertown, MS)
