West Virginia High School Volleyball - Wheeling Park tips Preston

September 6, 2025: Wheeling, WV 26003

The Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) volleyball held off the visiting Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 2-1 in Saturday's league bout.

The Patriots now hold a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host John Marshall for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 9. Wheeling Park will confront a Monarchs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Warren (Vincent, OH). The Monarchs record now stands at 7-2.

The Knights (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Indians enter the Big Ten bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Bridgeport was nudged by Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV), 2-0, in a non-league match.
