California High School Volleyball - Saugus over Walnut

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) and the host Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA), observed Saugus's volleyball team top Walnut by a count of 2-0.

The Centurions (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Orange Lutheran notched a victory over Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Don Lugo Conquistadores (Chino, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Walnut will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Conquistadores enter the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Arcadia (Arcadia, CA).
