Texas High School Volleyball - Lexington over Taylor

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lexington Eagles (Lexington, TX) and the visiting Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX), saw Lexington's volleyball squad beat Taylor by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Lexington upgrades its record to 22-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Rockdale (Rockdale, TX) to play the Tigers in a 3A Region III District 19 bout on Friday, September 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-11. Rockdale lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Leon (Jewett, TX)

The Ducks now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Gatesville for a non-league bout on Friday, September 10. Taylor will play a Hornets squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Robinson (Robinson, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 13-5.
