The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Pinkston Vikings (Dallas, TX) and the visiting Poly Parrots (Fort Worth, TX), saw Pinkston's volleyball squad beat Poly by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Pinkston upgrades its record to 1-9 on the year. The Vikings host Wilmer-Hutchins (Dallas, TX) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region II District 12 bout on Tuesday, September 28. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-3.

The Parrots now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Side for a 5A Region I District 7 bout on Friday, October 1.
