In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Sheldon Irish football squad scored a close 20-18 victory over the West Linn Lions.
In their next game, the Irish clash with the Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 15. Sheldon will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Crusaders enter the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
