Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Comets confront the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 26. Asheboro will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record.
The Crusaders now possess a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bradford Prep for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Christ the King will confront a Bears team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
