The Lemon Bay Manta Rays volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Port Charlotte Pirates to 0 in the Manta Rays non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Manta Rays now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host DeSoto County for a non-league game on Thursday, September 8. Lemon Bay will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 league win over Imagine School at North Port (North Port, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

The Pirates (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Naples (Naples, FL). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league game with a 3-0 record.
