In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Community School of Davidson Spartans soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the SouthLake Christian Academy .
The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Bears come into the Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Bradford Prep was overwhelmed by Christ the King (Huntersville, NC), 5-2, in a league battle.
The (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC). The Eagles come into the NCISAA Metrolina battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Gaston Christian nudged Lake Pointe Academy (York, SC), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
