The Highland Hornets soccer team scored 6 points and limited the visiting West Mesa Mustangs to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Wednesday.
Next, the Hornets face the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 8. Highland will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 0-0 non-league Taos (Taos, NM).
The Mustangs now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Belen for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 13. West Mesa will face a Eagles team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
