Colorado High School Softball - Overland loses to Wheat Ridge

The Wheat Ridge Farmers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Overland Trailblazers to 1 in the Farmers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Wheat Ridge improves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Farmers travel to Lutheran (Parker, CO) to clash with the Lions in a non-league game on Friday, September 9. The Lions come into the game with a record of 10-0. Lutheran won 8-5 in their recent league game against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO)
In their next game, the Trailblazers clash with the Thomas Jefferson Spartans (Denver, CO) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 8. Overland will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 7-1 record after their 14-1 league win over Denver North (Denver, CO).
