North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Point over Burns

South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Red Raiders clash with the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 3A match, on Thursday, September 8. South Point will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Huskies come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC).

With the loss, Burns drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A match on Thursday, September 8.
