The Yreka Miners volleyball team (Yreka, CA), was nudged 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Henley Hornets (Klamath Falls, OR)

The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Mustangs enter the 4A Skyline challenge with a 3-0 record.

Next, the Miners encounter the Fort Bragg Timberwolves (Fort Bragg, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 10. Yreka will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Roseland University Prep (Santa Rosa, CA).
