The Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) volleyball were winner over the visiting Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC), 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Lake Norman betters its record to 8-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC) to face the Ragin' Bulls in a Greater Metro 4A outing on Thursday, September 8. The Ragin' Bulls go into the outing with a record of 4-6. Hickory Ridge lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against South Iredell (Statesville, NC)

The Titans now sport a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Chambers for a Queen City 3A/4A outing on Thursday, September 8. Hopewell will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
