In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Midtown Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Tri-Cities Bulldogs.
The Knights (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Jackson (Atlanta, GA). The Jaguars come into the 5A Area 5 battle with a 18-2 record. In their last battle, Jackson achieved victory over Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Creekside Seminoles (Fairburn, GA) in a 5A Area 5 battle, on Tuesday, September 13. Tri-Cities will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Seminoles come into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 league loss to Banneker (College Park, GA).
