In Thursday's non-league game, the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Santa Fe, NM) football team smashed the host Chesterton Academy Saints (Albuquerque, NM), by a score of 71-32.
The Roadrunners (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Kansas School for the Deaf (Olathe, KS). The Jackrabbits come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record.
The Saints now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hondo Valley for a non-league game on Friday, September 22.
