New Mexico High School Football - Legacy Academy smashes Lordsburg

September 7, 2023: Lordsburg, NM 88045

The Legacy Academy Silverbacks (Albuquerque, NM) football routed the host Lordsburg Mavericks (Lordsburg, NM), 56-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Silverbacks clash with the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 15. Legacy Academy will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Coyotes enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 54-0 non-league win over Questa (Questa, NM).

The Mavericks (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes enter the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Melrose walloped Dove Creek (Dove Creek, CO), 42-26, in a non-league bout.
