Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) followers were thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their football squad achieve victory over the visiting Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), 33-13 in a league battle.

The Buckaroos now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spring Creek for a 3A Northern battle on Friday, September 15. Lowry will play a Spartans squad coming off a 41-19 league loss to Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-3.

Coming up next, the Railroaders play the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a 3A Northern battle, on Friday, September 15. Sparks will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Greenwave enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 48-0 league win over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
