Texas High School Football - Rule overwhelms Patton Springs

September 7, 2023: Afton, TX 79220

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Rule Bobcats (Rule, TX) and the host Patton Springs Rangers (Afton, TX), observed Rule's football squad bounce Patton Springs by a count of 69-12.

The Bobcats now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Wichita Christian for a non-league test on Friday, September 15. Rule will confront a Stars team coming off a 46-22 non-league win over Forestburg (Forestburg, TX). The Stars record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Patton Springs moves to 0-3 on the season. The Rangers travel to Hedley (Hedley, TX) to confront the Owls in a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. The Owls go into the test with a record of 0-2. Hedley lost 54-47 in their recent non-league test against Northside (Vernon, TX)
