The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Broncos enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Kirtland Central nipped Grants (Grants, NM), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Timberwolves meet the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. East Mountain will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM).
