The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Great Oak Wolfpack (Temecula, CA) and the host Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA), saw Great Oak's volleyball squad beat Santiago by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Great Oak upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year.

The Sharks now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Centennial for a bout on Monday, September 11. Santiago will play a Huskies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Citrus Valley (Redlands, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 4-5.
