Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians confront the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. Montgomery County will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Tomcats enter the challenge with a 0-0 record after their 1-1 non-league Rowan County (Morehead, KY).

The Indians now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Conner for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 11.
