Newton North Tigers (Newtonville, MA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Walpole Timberwolves (Walpole, MA) in a Bay State - Carey challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Newton North will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record.
The Wamps now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Natick for a Bay State - Carey challenge on Tuesday, October 10.
