Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Colonels confront the Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) in a District 6 challenge, on Monday, September 11. Henderson County will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY).

The Red Devils now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Owensboro Catholic for a District 9 challenge on Tuesday, September 12.
