North Carolina High School Football - Asheboro trounces Providence Grove

September 7, 2023: Asheboro, NC 27203

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Asheboro Blue Comets football squad scored a big 40-6 victory over the Providence Grove Patriots.

In their next game, the Blue Comets clash with the Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 14. Asheboro will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 14-0 non-league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC).

The Patriots (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Ledford routed East Davidson (Thomasville, NC), 48-0, in a non-league match.
