North Carolina High School Football - Mount Pleasant succumbs to Northwest Cabarrus

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans thwarted the host Mount Pleasant Tigers football team by a count of 15-6 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Northwest Cabarrus upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Trojans host South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to confront the Raiders in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 14. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 1-1. South Rowan lost 53-6 in their recent non-league outing against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC)

With the loss, Mount Pleasant moves to 1-3 on the season. The Tigers host West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to confront the Colts in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 14. The Colts go into the outing with a record of 2-1. West Stanly lost 28-0 in their recent non-league outing against North Stanly (New London, NC)
