North Carolina High School Football - New Hanover knocked off by Pinecrest

Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), 43-13 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Pinecrest improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 4-0. Cardinal Gibbons won 56-19 in their recent non-league test against Rolesville (Rolesville, NC)

With the loss, New Hanover drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-2.
