The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Elizabeth Bulldogs (Cudahy, CA) and the host Huntington Park Spartans (Huntington Park, CA), saw Elizabeth's volleyball squad nip Huntington Park by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Elizabeth upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Marquez (Huntington Park, CA) to play the Gladiators in a bout on Monday, September 18. The Gladiators go into the bout with a record of 2-3.
