The Milpitas Trojans topped the host Fremont Firebirds volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Trojans now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gunn for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Milpitas will confront a Titans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Titans record now stands at 5-2.

The Firebirds (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Presentation (San Jose, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Presentation gained a win over Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
