With the win, Gallup upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Bengals host Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM) to face the Eagles in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 13. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 3-1.
The Pirates now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Farmington for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 9. Grants will face a Scorpions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Scorpions record now stands at 0-2.
