New Mexico High School Volleyball - Valley tips Rio Grande

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM), saw Valley's volleyball squad nip Rio Grande by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Matadors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 13. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

The Ravens now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Hope Christian for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9.
