The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the University Heights Blazers (Hopkinsville, KY) and the visiting Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY), saw University Heights's soccer squad get by Calloway County by a count of 2-1.
The Blazers now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Trigg County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. University Heights will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Hopkinsville (Hopkinsville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Calloway County drops to 6-3 on the season. The Lakers host Mayfield (Mayfield, KY) to meet the Cardinals in a District 2 test on Monday, September 11. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 2-4. Mayfield lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against McCracken County (Paducah, KY)
