In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Churchill Bulldogs soccer squad scored a close 2-0 win over the Urbana Hawks.
The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD). The Rockets go into the Montgomery County 4A - West Region 1 battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Richard Montgomery nipped Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record.
