The Empire Bulldogs (Duncan, OK) softball routed the host Geronimo Blue Jays (Geronimo, OK), 8-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (19-7) will now prepare for their bout against Walters (Walters, OK). The Blue Devils go into the non-league bout with a 11-13 record. In their last bout, Walters toppled Grandfield (Grandfield, OK), 6-4, in a non-league bout.
The Blue Jays now possess a 15-13 record. They play next when they travel to Ringling for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 7. Geronimo will confront a Blue Devils squad coming off a 12-8 league loss to Empire (Duncan, OK). The Blue Devils record now stands at 16-12.
